Back at school

The semester has started and classes are nearly in full swing. Most of my classes seem pretty okay although one of my professors speaks and writes at about a first grade level. Sure the whole "originally from China" thing might cause that but it sure isn't gonna help me figure how to use a nearly impossible SAP program that seems like spanish to me as it is. So putting it that way I am taking a course in both Chinese and Spanish this semester. That should really be an enriching experience. Having a new room this year has been really nice so far too. We finally have our own bathroom and shower. I know most college students have apartments by this point, but hey, I don't, so back off. But speaking of the dorm, we had a meeting to get to know everyone and meet with the RA. And WOW, I live with a breath takingly ugly group of people. I don't consider myself particularly great looking but the guys in this dorm make me look like brad pitt walking amongst gollum from LOTR. Well thats all I have for now, I'll be back when Maggie forces me to post again!

Lets see how long this lasts...

I'd like to start by welcoming every possible type of visitor to this blog. First off, Maggie, a friend of mine who is going to England for the fall semester and will likely die of mad cow disease before i will be able to see her again. Second, I'd like to roll out the red carpet for anyone who was looking for something in google images and were somehow led astray to a photo on this blog... I hope it does the trick. And finally i'd like to give a warm welcome to any child predator that is browsing the internet looking for a date. Unfortunately for any of you, my college isn't within 40 miles of a mall and aparently that is the only meeting place you people can think of. Now that I have identified and introduced myself to the core audience, its time to start "Blogging". I'm going to ballpark it now and guess that I will make 3 and a half posts on this before i forget it exists. But in those 3 and a half posts I will talk about whatever interests me at the moment as well as update maggie on whats happening on planet earth while she is away. Not much happened today because i am in the transition from being home and going to school. I did some back to school shopping at the mall today. I saw a woman walking through the mall with her poodle in one of those mini dog handbags. It seems to me that the dog would rather stay home alone than go to Brads cookie nook with you in a bag the size of its body. That got me to thinking, would it be okay with the managment of the mall if i brought my 90 pound dog with me to the mall?? Maybe carry her in my giant hockey bag with her head sticking out? It seems like sadie could use a day on the town so maybe i'll consider it for my next trip to the mall.
